One of the most famous ancient saga's ever told, Beowulf is the tale of a young Danish warrior called Beowulf who goes to the aid of King Hrodgar and his people, who are attacked by a half-man half-monster named Grendal. A furious battle ensues and Beowulf emerges as the victor, although Grendel's mother, an equally savage creature ambushes the men, beginning a battle in which many lives are lost.
The story continues with Beowulf becoming king of his own people, until one day a slave steals a golden cup from a dragons lair. Once the dragon realizes the theft it leaves its cave in a terrifying rage, attacking Beowulf's people and land as it searches for his treasure. In one last battle Beowulf comes to his people's aid!
An animated adventure for children and adults alike, Beowulf is an epic tale full of action, heroism, bravery and sacrifice.
