The night 17-year-old Nathan Maguire chooses to tell Jessica that he is in love with her is the night he dies. Resurrected by his mother by his mother as a zombie through the power of voodoo rituals, Nathan returns with the intense desire to eat human flesh. One careless bite in a fight with the school bully and the infection is spread, with horrific and bloody consequences for the whole neighbourhood.
