Cinema of Vengeance covers fifty years of Martial Arts and the movies. Starting with the Chinese action cinema of the late forties, the film takes us from the pioneering work of Bruce Lee, who introduced Kung Foo to western cinema audiences right up to the modern day spectacular action films of John Woo. The film highlights the many influences that have contributed to Hong Kong films over the decades, including movies based on the Shaolin Temple, Ninjas and Kick Boxing. Cinema of Vengeance also includes an exclusive interview with Bruce Lee, as well as profiling action stars such as Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat and Jean Claude Van Damme.
