A supernatural experience transports a modern-day teenager back to the horrors of the holocaust in this Emmy Award-Winning drama.

To contemporary New York teenager Hannah Stern, hanging out with her girlfriends is much more crucial than her Jewish faith - until the day she is mysteriously swept back in time to a Jewish ghetto in 1940s Europe. Together with other members of this close-knit community, Hannah is rounded up and transported to a Nazi death camp. There, amid the atrocities, Hannah has one glimmer of hope: Rivkah, another Jewish teenager with whom she strikes up a vital friendship. And Hannah herself is able to offer some hope to her bemused companions: that although six million Jews will perish during the Holocaust, their faith will not die with them.
