An assassination threat has been made against Prime Minister Kayabuki and Section 9 is called in to serve as bodyguards. Meanwhile, the investigation into the Individual Eleven unearths some very interesting facts about the shadowy terrorist organisation's history. Episode 6 (Excavation) sees Togusa investigate a seemingly run-of-the mill hit-and-run incident, which soon becomes anything but. In Episode 7 (Pu239) Section 9 is ordered to protect a convoy of plutonium being transported from a top secret underground nuclear facility in Tokyo. The enigmatic government agent, Gohda is once again an unwelcome guest in proceedings.
