Part time lap dancer and single mum Sharon Harrison (Christine Tremarco) goes on a rare night out with the girls, but when she claims that she has been drugged and raped by none other that Jamie Gilliam (Kenny Doughty) the famous Castlefield football player, Gilliam readily admits to sex with Sharon, but denies any question of rape. When Sharon mysteriously drops her case against Jamie, Maxine Norris, (Claire Goose) becomes suspicious and confides in her aunt, Linda Norris (Kay Mellor) and is determined to find out the truth about Jamie.
