Pecker (Edward Furlong) works in a sandwich shop and takes photos of his loving but peculiar family and friends on the side. Nobody thinks much of Pecker's 'ugly photographs of everyday life' until an art dealer from New York discovers his work and turns him into a star.
But though success brings money, fame begins to ruin everything. Will Pecker lost his friends and Shelly (Christina Ricci) the girl he loves? All he ever wanted to do was take your picture.
