Campbell Scott stars in this sophisticated comedy as modern anti-hero Roger Swanson, a cynical advertising copywriter waging a one-man war in the trenches of Manhattan's single scene. A modern day Casanova (or so he thinks) Roger won't let the small matter of being dumped by his boss Joyce or having to baby-sit his 16 year old nephew Nick cramp his style - or another night on the prowl. Spotting a couple of beautiful young women in a bar - Sophia and Andrea - Nick becomes another weapon in Roger's arsenal as he is taken through New York's wild nightlife for an all-night crash course in seduction.
