In the post-apocalyptic world, the brutal sport of "Jugging", a violent cross between football and gladiator matches is the entertainment of choice of the hardened citizens. A team of nomadic Juggers roam from village, piecing together a meager existence by earning money is small-time matches, led by the rugged Sallow (Rutger Hauer - Blade Runner, Sin City), a disgraced former champion.
Kidda (Joan Chen - The Last Emperor, Twin Peaks), a poor peasant girl playing in a village team, convinces Sallow to take her on the road with his team. As the team's "quik", Kidda soon proves her worth and the rag-tag team set off for one of the remaining Nine Cities with their sights on the league championships.
