Sam is desperate to meet Santa Claus, so he comes up with a plan! Late on Christmas eve he creeps downstairs and waits and waits.
At last Santa arrives and Sam manages to hide himself into the Christmas sack of presents. When he is discovered he is quite upset at being so far from home, so Santa invites him to his special Christmas party and gives him a special present - a lovely little pocket watch.
When Sam wakes up in his own bed the next morning he thinks it has all been a dream UNTIL he sees the pocket watch!
