Bobby Bishop is one of the President's most powerful and trusted advisors. Then, a former college professor known to be a radical conspiracy buff, frantically summons him. The professor has valuable information concerning a traitor at the highest level of government. However, before he can reveal the spy's identity, he is shot. Suddenly Bishop finds he's not a Washington hotshot any more, but a fugitive being hunted down in the dead of night by a ruthless killer. He enlists the help of former girlfriend, Amanda Givens, a plucky reporter, and together they uncover a hideous conspiracy.
