05. Far Away
Tucker and Garvey are dragged up and made to perform as part of an ABBA tribute band. Stubbs leads a search and destroy mission into the bush, while his wife is back in England suffering mysterious stomach pains.

'B' Company has to take on dense jungle to find the remains of a crashed World War Two bomber. As they prepare to battle the leeches the lads are counting down the days until they're rid of workaholic Aussie sergeant Brad Connor.

While Tucker takes his son to the zoo, Donna unwittingly lets Corporal Bryan Casey into her home. He is deranged, however, and pulls a shotgun on her. He believes that Tucker killed his wife in Northern Ireland and wants revenge.

All is not well for Sergeant Brad Connor when he learns that his old girlfriend in Australia has contracted HIV, then a rifle goes missing during an exercise with the Territorial Army.

Joy Wilton's relationship with Families Officer Jim Greene develops while Evans and Farrell try to make some cash by selling dodgy red wine to the Officers' Summer Ball.

A late cancellation at the registry office means Garvey and his ex-wife Nancy can tie the knot a second time. The happy couple decide to combine their wedding celebrations with a farewell party before they leave for the Middle East.

New recruit Fusilier Andrew Butcher is causing trouble - his enthusiasm gets the better of him and his gun goes off by accident in a live fire exercise, shooting another soldier and leading to a major inquiry.

There's excitement at the news that 'B' Company are off to South Africa, while Donna launches a magazine especially for army wives.

The opulent delights of Sun City fade into the background when the soldiers of 'B' Company are involved in a civil war which breaks out in a neighbouring country.

Civil war rebels capture a group of British aid workers and hold then hostage. As the soldiers arrive at a tiny airstrip inside the war-torn country of Makindi, they quickly realise it will be a race against time to get everyone out alive.
