One of Deanna Durbin's very finest musical comedies, Something In The Wind is a great showcase for the star's comedy talents.

Mary Collins (Deanna Durbin) is a disc jockey on a local radio station who suddenly finds herself accused of being the mistress of a rich old man, Henry Reed. Outraged at the very suggestion, Mary digs deep into her family background and discovers that her aged aunt has a shocking secret!

As the scandal grows, relatives of Mary's supposed 'Sugar Daddy' kidnap her to shut her up. Of course, to a feisty girl like Mary, this means war! She pretends that all the scandalous rumours are true and the wealthy Reed family had better come up with some serious hush money pronto!

Hilarious from start to finish, Something In The Wind is also packed with unforgettable songs from Deanna including "The Turntable Song", "Happy Go Lucky and Free", "You Gotta Keep Your Baby Lookin' Right", "Something in the Wind", "It's Only Love" and "II Miserere".
