Rafael Belvedere is at a crossroads. he is 42 and with no apparent direction in life he recollects the days when we wanted to resemble his fiction hero, Diego de la Vega. The childhood days of when he put on the black cape and the mask are now only but a distant memory. He feels that he can't fulfil the expectations that life brings to him. He has no motivation, has a divorce behind him and lives for the restaurant his father founded. He can't even sacrifice time to watch his daughter, Vicky growing up.
His life begins to have a new meaning when he meets again with an old child friend Juan Carlos who, despite having a personal tragedy on his shoulders, will help him in a particular way to reconstruct his past and recover his present. Along the way, he'll support his father to fulfil his mother's dream: get married in a church.
