Dirk Bogarde, stars in this taut psychological drama as Dr Longman, the scientist who chooses a perilous method of clearing his friends name- risking his family, his livelihood and even his sanity.

In a desperate attempt to prove that a late colleague was innocent of treason, a young scientist undergoes an experiment in which his five senses are reduced to nil.
