Tout Va Bien (Everything's Fine) is a masterpiece of radical cinema, a caustic critique of society, marriage, and revolution. Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin's film is a free-ranging assault on consumer capitalism and the establishment.
It is 1972 - 4 years after the militant uprisings in France. De Gaulle and his successor Pompidou have held off the would-be revolution and the political right wing holds France in its grip.
