The Best of British Collection
Odeon Entertainment is proud to release some of the forgotten classics from the Golden Age of British Cinema. Comedies, thrillers, murder mysteries and films that entertained the post-war generation will be available on DVD for the very first time.

Violent Enemy:
During the troubles in Ireland an IRA bomb plot is hatched to blow up a British power station. Sean Rogan (Tom Bell) is an IRA bomb expert who escapes from prison to try and stop the destruction. This intelligent thriller with powerful performances from Tom Bell, Susan Hampshire and Ed Begley was one of the few movies to portray the inner motives of individuals fighting a common enemy. The film is adapted from the novel 'A Candle for the Dead' by Jack Higgins writing as Hugh Marlowe.
