In the woods of Addytown, Pennsylvania, legend has it that for almost a hundred years, child zombies have been roaming at night, seeking the flesh of the living. It is said that following a mining disaster, where many child workers were buried alive, the children rose as the undead to avenge themselves against the families and descendents of those responsible for their deaths.

In financial trouble following the death of her husband, widowed Karen Tunny (Lori Heuring - Runaway Jury, Anger Management) and her two daughters are forced to relocate to an inherited, remote mountain home near the mine: they begin to realise the story is no legend, and find themselves under siege by a horde of zombie children!
