Flush with $3 million in counterfeit bills, a pair of small-time criminals Frankie and Hopscotch hope to make the big-time by trading it in for a cool million in authentic cash. However, the trade goes wrong and three men end up dead including an undercover cop, Danny, whose sister Colleen witnesses his murder. While the two friends are returning to the city after hiding the money, they are attacked and Hopscotch is killed. Frankie discovers to his horror that they have been double-crossed and tries to recover the money before the police, the counterfeiters and a vengeful sister catch up with him.
