An extraordinary success for ITV (five series and a sequel), Strangers was a tough, quirky police series that was certainly a breed apart from the other cop shows of the eighties. Written by
celebrated author and scriptwriter Murray Smith (Dempsey and Makepeace), Strangers features Don Henderson (Star Wars, The Paradise Club) as idiosyncratic copper D.S. Bulman (created in The XYY Man) who was never to be seen without his trademark string gloves, Vicks inhaler and plastic bag. This is the first time that this complete third series has been released in any format.
